Join the department!

The fire department is always looking for more members. If you are a dedicated man or woman who lives or works in the Alburnett Otter Creek fire district who wants to join this elite group, email the chief bellow. We meet twice monthly on the first and third Monday of the month at 7:00pm for training. We respond to an average of 80 calls a year. We also participate in various public relation events throughout the year. Members are asked to participate as much as possible, however this is a volunteer department and we understand that nobody is available all the time. Members must be at least 18 years old, however we have an explorer program that allows individuals under 18 to join the department with more restrictions and supervisions. We have had in the past and currently do have members that attend the high school in Alburnett, we welcome students and the school has been supportive. All members must have a good driving record, driving records will be checked upon joining and can be checked whenever the department feels it is needed.
